Core Principle
You Are in Control
ClearKun provides analysis and recommendations, but you are ultimately responsible for any files you choose to delete. ClearKun never deletes files automatically. Please always verify the files you are deleting before emptying your trash.
1. Informational Analysis Only
ClearKun is designed exclusively as a storage analysis and visualization tool. The software presents metadata, highlights large folders, and suggests potential areas where space can be recovered.
These suggestions are strictly informational. ClearKun does not make decisions on your behalf and does not know whether a specific file is important to you personally.
2. User Responsibility for Deletion
By using ClearKun, you acknowledge that you remain entirely responsible for any files, documents, applications, or system components that you choose to delete.
3. System and Application Files
Deleting files inside Windows system directories (like C:\Windows) or hidden application data folders (like AppData) carries inherent risks. Removing the wrong files can cause applications to stop working or destabilize your operating system.
If you are unsure what a file does, we strongly advise you not to delete it.
4. Early Access / Beta Software Status
ClearKun is currently in Early Access. This means the software is provided as a beta preview for testing and feedback purposes.
- Bugs & Errors: The software may contain bugs or display incorrect storage totals.
- Feature Changes: Beta features may change dramatically or be removed prior to the final release.
- No Liability: We provide no warranty regarding the stability of the beta release.
