Zero-Knowledge Architecture
ClearKun was architected from day one to treat user privacy as the top engineering constraint:
1. Metadata-Only Inspection
ClearKun inspects file paths, sizes, and timestamps to calculate storage usage. It never opens, reads, or processes personal file contents (such as text documents, spreadsheets, photos, or emails).
2. Local-Only Processing
All calculations, indexing databases, duplicate comparison hashes, and cache analyses execute locally on your device's CPU and RAM. No filesystem data is sent to external servers.
3. Non-Destructive Defaults
ClearKun will never perform automatic background deletion without your explicit permission. Deletions always default to the Windows Recycle Bin, giving you total peace of mind and effortless recovery.
