Data Minimization
Under global data protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001 principles), data collection is restricted strictly to what is necessary for providing software services:
- Local Storage Scans: Processed entirely in RAM on your local device. Scan results are stored only on your local disk.
- Account Data: Limited to name, email address, password hash (via bcrypt/Argon2), and license key pairing.
- Payment Processing: Processed securely via PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateways (Stripe / Razorpay). ClearKun never stores your credit card numbers or financial details.
Your Rights Under Data Protection Laws
- Right of Access: You can inspect and export your account data at any time via your account portal.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request full deletion of your account, license history, and email records.
- Right to Portability: Export your scan logs and diagnostic summaries to open JSON/CSV formats.
